Fine Artists Providing a Visual Treat

‘Bucket of Tarts’ by Douglas Racich

Fine art [noun] is defined as a visual art considered to have been created primarily for aesthetic purposes and judged for its beauty and meaningfulness, specifically, drawing, watercolor, oils, acrylics, pastels, graphics and colored pencil, which are proudly displayed in the gallery.

You’ll discover collages, batiks, traditional, as well as impressionistic and expressionistic paintings.

Impressionistic derives from Impressionism paintings, which from the 1860’s was a literary or artistic style that seeks to capture a feeling or experience rather than to achieve accurate depiction.

Expressionistic, or Expressionism, was a modernist movement of the 20th century. Its typical trait is to present the world solely from a subjective perspective, distorting it radically for emotional effect in order to evoke moods or ideas.
