The glass is heated in a furnace to approximately 2000 degrees. A blowpipe is dipped into the pool of melted glass repeatedly.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The hot glass is then rolled over bits of colored glass, which fuse together from the intense heat, and is shaped, inflated and reheated many times until the desired form is achieved.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The piece is then cooled slowly over several hours in an annealing oven.
