As an exhibiting artist, Laura Bealey has exhibited in more than 100 solo and group shows. Her exhibitions have been presented in colleges, universities, galleries, corporations and museums. Her purchased works can be found in homes, corporate offices, colleges, and historic homes throughout the United States, Canada, and the British Isles.
Bealey received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at Mary Washington College of the University of Virginia, an Associate Degree from Northern Virginia Community College in Fine Arts, Summa Cum Laude and Masters Degree from George Mason University that integrated Studio Art, Art History and Art Education.
She has taught art in the Fairfax County School system, given lectures at George Mason University and taught at Northern Virginia Community College. Bealey has also taught landscape workshops to international students in County Clare, Ireland, St. James, New York and Elk Rapids, Michigan.
Fun Fact: Bealey is listed in Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Women, Who’s Who in the South and Southwest, Who’s Who in American Education and Who’s Who in the World.
She also has a file established in her name at The National Museum of Women in Arts.
